Well after years of wishing and hoping I would have a laptop it finally came true today. After staying at home waiting for the UPS man to deliver. At 3:50pm the beloved Apple G4 17″ Powerbook arrived in my hands.

After unwrapping the protective cardboard wrapping I stood in awe and wonder of its box, that lasted all of 3 seconds before I opened it and dug threw the styrofoam for the laptop itself. Of couse I only got to play with my new toy for like 10 mins before having to go pickup Princess and head to the USPS. But this is a mobile toy so I took it with me thinking if I left right away I would have time to sit in the parking lot and play with it. Wouldn’t you know it that wasn’t the case. I ended up heading to the post office first got in line and realized I forgot my wallet, so I went back home got the wallet and stood in line again, and go figure the line was even longer when I got back. By the time I got out of the post office I had just enough time to run to CompUSA to get another Airport Express so I could extend my wireless signal to the patio, which for some reason I could barely get. After CompUSA I had 5 mins to haul ass to Princess’s work to pick her up, so go figure NO TIME to play with my new toy when I arrived.
Finally after we got back home I got to play with my new toy, but go figure, it wasn’t very long before I had to fix dinner and had to wait alittle longer. I’ve waited a week for it to arrive, what was 30 more minutes?
