Care-A-Van for Kids and Riverdance Trailer Unloading!

Well, Saturday, August 19th was the final day for our local radio station's (WMIL FM*106) CAP Fund Care-A-Van for Kids (CAP Fund is short for Child Abuse Prevention Fund) which on the last day they always go and through a big concert at the Brewer Stadium parking lot with THREE BIG Country Headliners.  So before I went down to listen to the music I went past the Riverside Theater where Riverdance will be playing.  Low and behold what did I see behind the theater and on the side of the road.  TWO 18-Wheelers with big blue letters that said Riverdance -- The Show National Tour.  So I pulled in to a parking lot and took a picture of one of the trucks.

I also then walked around the side of the theater and saw all the boxes that held the cables (electrical, microphones, etc) they were blue with either yellow letters or white lettersthat said Riverdance.  I also saw inside the truck and saw the Riverdance Set all dissasembled.  

While I was there I asked one of the people how long it takes to set up the show, and he replied "about 3 days"  WOW!  Then they took one of the big long V shaped pieces of the stage inside the theater. I wanna say it was the left hand side of the stage.

I didn't stay very long, about 10 mins, as so not to seem nosy, but then went back to my truck and paid my $2.00 for 10 mins worth of parking time.  Then went on to enjoy the sounds of the CAP Fund Care-A-Van for Kids 2000.
