Born in Madrid, Rosa Manzano comes from a family with very strong gypsy and flamenco roots, known in her native Spain, as Los Pelaos. The young Rosa began her training in 1979, at the age of eight, under the instruction of Mercedes & Albano.
Rosa began performing professionally at fourteen, when she took to the stage with Paco Romero at the Corral de la Pacheca.
Rosa has worked with some of the major Flamenco infuences and has performed in Spain, Ireland, England, Greece and Israel. She has also performed to audiences at the Royal Albert Hall, Sadler's Wells Theatre and the ABC Hall in Tokyo.
